Ok, I took a while from the computer. Life for me gets really crazy around the holidays! (Sorry I haven't been visiting anyone else either!)

Things are getting back to normal.......but now we have another new family member! Her name is zoe and she is almost 6 months old. She is part shiz zue and part poodle...and weighs a wopping 8 pounds!

Why does everyone want things to change??? Yahoo's new mail, and now blogger????? Hummmmmmm. Maybe I am getting old, 'cuz I don't like it!!!! I tried the yahoo mail.........it was ok, but I swiched back to the old style. Just had to vent a bit.

Well, things as usual are busy around here. I am not caught up on laundry or dishes. I still have Christmas gifts to buy, and wrapping...........IT WILL GET DONE! I like to have everything for Christmas done by now! (Yes, I have issues!) I asked Ryan what he is going to ask Santa for. "A cars coloring book and some crayons" OK, THE KID HAS DOZENS! I did think that was cute though!

Brie finished her first AWANA book already and is about half way through the second! (I have no clue how she does it!) On award night Jayson took work off early and suprised her! It was really cute!

Happy Halloween....a bit late!

Just a few pics of the kids from Halloween last night. I took the kids out to trick or treat for just a bit. Man it was really cold here.....about 25 degrees with a wind chill of about 10! Yuck! We also went to our church and they recreated the book of Exodis (Moses) It was really cool!

I can't believe all that has gone on in one week! I am about half way done with the quilt for my sisters baby. It is really bright.
My great aunt passed away, and my grandma didn't want to go to the funeral alone....so Sunday afternoon I boarded a plane with her and went to Denver CO! I haven't flown in about 12 years so I was a bit scared. We came back Monday night......a short trip! The plane ride home was very bumpy and I thought I might toss some cookies..........but I held up ok!
This Sunday is the shower I am doing for my sister, so I want to get the quilt done by then!

Who paints there butt orange????

I got the funniest or maybe sickest email today from my friend Kari! It said Happy Halloween and when you scroll down it is some persons butt painted orange with a jack-o-latern face! I know I am a bit off.............but I am thinking..........why didn't I think of that? (I am sure hubby would be up for a bit of butt paint!) WHO THINKS OF THAT! If you want to see it, send me your email and I can forward it to you too!

Anywho, back to school. Oh and Deb, MEA is a Minnesota teachers confrence when the kids get off. I am now addicted to free stuff from the web! (I only get the samples from the manufactures.......not the stupid ones that you have to fill out hundreds of questions and then complete the offer!) I have already gotten some shampoo and books! Whoooooooo hoooooooo, fun mail!

This week is MEA week.....so Brie has Thursday and Friday off (maybe)! I am so thankful, because she and Ryan both have a nasty cold.......fevers and all...........but she still has been getting the basics done!

It has been a bit cold outside..........so not much has been going on. Last night someone in our neighborhood "spooked" us! It is a really cute thing where you leave a note and goodies for the kids before halloween. I am still not sure who did it......but we are going to get a few homes tonight!

Today I attended the local AWANA convention.........and I must say I had a wonderful time! (I wasn't sure if it would be a bit stuffy........) I went to some super workshops..........but the very best thing I learned was how to craft balloon animals! How cool is that?

Moon and motivation

I thought the harvest moon looked so cool........so I took my camera outside and just kept trying new things. I am really happy with the way it turned out. (Do you see the face?)

Ok, now I can tell you the motivation behind getting all of that stuff done! I threw a suprise party for my hubby and wanted to get the stuff done before everyone came! Thank goodness for my mother in law (pita) and SIL Jona! They helped me so much............last minute cleaning, serving food, clean up.....you name it! I have some pictures to post later! It rained up until about an hour before the party, but was a pretty nice day!

So now you now my secret, although I am going to try and keep up with some of the hectic pace..........I am making my sister a quilt for her baby and planning a shower for next month. I really do like to keep busy, but that was a bit much!

My Golden Birthday.......Took Brie to gym class, Mary has no wedding cake for her Saturday wedding!, went to dinner.................went to walmart, bought cake supplies.........baked five cakes, crumb coated two!

Friday:
Baked five more cakes, went to cousins wedding (three hour drive each way!), celebrated my birthday with my parents and sister, came home at 11:00...........frosted and decorated all of the cakes (five total, two layers each)

Saturday:
Went to bed by 4:00...........got up at 6:00! I went to the church, set up the cake and what was left to set up in the hall! Helped the BEAUTIFUL bride get dressed! Here is where it gets even more "special"! THe two ring bearers wouldn't go down the isle........so I stepped in and had to walk them down (Thank goodness I went home for a shower!) I had a very fun day.......but was tired!

Sunday: Stained the front porch, painted shed trim, went to my in laws for a belated birthday (very fun!), fixed a couch.

Ok, I also taught Brie, kept up on the dishes and laundry, and drank a lot of caffine! All went pretty smooth...............and I just got done cleaning my carpets today!

Summer????? WHere did it go?

I feel like there was really no summer this year...spring and now fall! Ok, we did do a few fun thing, but all in all it just flew by to darn fast!

Brie is working on her math right now.......so I have a few min to blog. She does really good on math.......phonics is getting better for her. She got all of her spelling words right, so that is good. I still have to send a letter to the school distric to let them know that she is homeschooled, but I have until the 1st of October......so I think that I will send it in next week.

I get to be a leader at our church for kindergarden AWANA......I think that should be fun. (AWANA is a bible program, other than that I know nothing!)

I had a bridal shower for my friend Mary yesterday. It turned out to be a cold rainy day.........but I think that it was still ok. I made her cake........the first one I have done in a while. I will post some pics later.

I had thought I would take a little break from blogging this summer, little did I know how busy things would get. I feel like such a slacker, but I have accomplished alot, visited some cool places, and had some time to just relax!

As I type I am making coppies of some adorable alphabet puppets for Ryan this year (he is preschool age, and although he knows his alphabet and the sounds that they make, I really want him to do some fun cute things. I have also cut out phonics wheels for Brie.............and now I am working on the craft area! That is a huge undertaking!

I am also working on making something for my niece or nephew that will be born in Feb. but I can't give details now!

Krispy Kreme

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, how I love a hot krispy kreme! Yum. Last weekend we met Jayson's parents for dinner, and Brie asked Grandpa if we could go to krispy kreme. Of course he took her.........but I think Ryan had the best time! And he loved the hat!

Brie gets here cast off on Monday....although she still has some pain so she may need a splint again. They are going to do x rays again. We are packing our swimming suits...since that is what she wants to do as soon as the cast comes off!

My parents took the kids yesterday for the whole weekend...........yes, four days kid free! I have scrubbed the kitchen, done tons of laundry, re caulked the bathtub.............just stuff that needed to be done.
The pictures were taken at Culvers on kids night. I thought the girl did a really good job!

Thats about it. It is Tuesday.

Ryan tried to help me water the flowers yesterday......and ended up watering inside the garage. Nothing to important got wet.

I started a small fire in the kitchen........I turned on the wrong burner and there was a potholder on it! OH MAN, the smell.............we had to go to McDonalds for dinner! I think it took 3 hrs to air out with the fans running!

Brie is adapting to the cast......although I think she got a little attitude with it! Hopefully the cast will be gone and the attitude will go with it!

I am so sick of Ryan doing naughty boy things! Today he went pee on our little slide! YUCKY!!!!! He loves the mud, bugs, all that nasty boy stuff, and I am sick of it coming into the house! Uggggggggggggggh!

My sight is continuing to improve.......I am so thankful! I was able to drive to Chuck E Cheese with the neighbor.....she turned 40 so I had to embarrass her! It was a blast!

It was so hard not to take her home....but since we have the two already....I am still thinking of it ;)

I am doing better. I haven't regained much sight in my eye, but the nasty antibiotics I am on have decreased the bleeding in my eye......and the dr thinks that I may regain all of my sight in a few months (maybe years) without surgery. PRAISE GOD!!!!! I was so scared.

I truely believe I was meant to get sick for a reason! I met a woman who is having many of the troubles I had...........after being scratched by her kitten. I was able to give her some advice, which I hope will help her, since her problems are very recient. I am also going to try to work with local (and hopefully national) shelters, and pet stores to get them to give out the info on cat scratch. It really isn't a big deal at all if it is taken care of, so hopefully I can make something good come of all this!

Ok, purdy picture, and then the news!!!!

I have a ton of faith! I believe the Lord hears prayers, and really only gives you what you can handle, but HE has WAY to much faith in me!

Friday our truck broke. Yes it was an old beater, but it ran. We had to go on Saturday and get a new vehicle. It is very nice, but not cheap.....I am going to have to get a job working overnights to help support our family now.

Sunday was fine, Monday good I am going to be an auntie....my little sister is pregnant!, TUESDAY........I got a call at 3:00...Brie has cat scratch! Not the same one as me though....which is good! THis one is from LICE! She has never had lice! What the heck! THey are going to retest her to make sure it was correct! 5:00 the kids were playing on the swingset, and Ryan got a bit to rambuncuous............Brie has a broken arm in two spots! One might be on the growth plate, we find out tomorrow when she gets the cast on!

I GIVE UP!!!!!!!!! I know God has a plan, and I will know why all this is going on right now, but it is just so hard. (I can handle being poked, ect, but it was so hard to see my baby girl in so much pain!)

Hope everyone is having a super week......and sorry about the rant.....just a bit of therapy for me!

Hi all!

Got some great news today. I do not have a tumor..........but they did find kidney stones. They still aren't sure what is causing some of the issues, but I am sure I will get more tests run.......yipppppeeeee!

Any whoooooo, we had the most awesome sky tonight, I took a ton of pics, and will post some soon! I have the bug zapper on tonight.....I know it is sick, but I get pleasure every time I hear one "zzzzzzzzziiiiipppp!" Wow, just got three in a row!

Nesting??????

No, I am in no way, shape, or form pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do however think I am going through some sort of a nesting phase! Tonight alone I made 10 pounds of meat balls, 5 pounds of sloppy joes (both of which I don't eat) and cut up celery, carrots, lettuce, and broccoli. I also did a load of laundry, 2 loads of dishes and cleaned the kitchen. What the heck!!!

Today there was a grader in the back of us.....smoothing some ground for a bike trail! It will be wonderful for the kids...........and I think they are going to make a park behind the house! Yippppeeeee!

I went to Wally World tonight and got a ton of scrapbook stuff for 25 cents! I was shocked......since I tend to find deals like that only at Target.........which they are building about 2 miles away.............WHOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO! I can't wait!

I have no news yet.......I will post as soon as I hear anything!

A bit nervous

Ok, got my lab results in today. I do not have lupus, or some crazy blood disorder...Praise GOD! I do, however, have some abnormal results that my Dr thinks may be a pheochromocytoma (a tumor on the adrenal gland) as well as the bartonella (cat scratch). My blood pressure is still really high, and I have to increase the amount of drugs I take for that......but it could be caused by the pheo thinger. I am going tomorrow morning for a CT of my head and abdomen, and should have the results of that next week.

Now to the fun stuff. Ryan and Brie had there well checks yesterday.....(not so fun) but they checked their eyes. The nurse asked Ryan to tell here what the pictures were on the chart........one was a flag. "It is the fag of the nited states of ammmmakica" I thought the nurse would loose it! He had to get 4 shots and Brie got 1 and a blood draw (to test for the cat scratch, just to make sure) they both did so good I took them to Walmart to get a treat...............or three!

I also have the most beautiful birdies visiting and nesting in my yard!!!!! Yellow finches, Blue birds (NOT JAYS) and Purple finches! It is so fun to watch them, and the purple finches made a nest under the deck, so we can watch the babies!!!!! (THERE ARE FOUR!!!!) I am trying to get some good pictures, but they don't want to smile!

Cat Scratch Fever!

Yes, I at one point had cat scratch fever (unbenounced to me!) and that is what could be causing the macular star in my eye. As for the rest of my issues, we are still waiting on tests. I had a kidney ultra sound yesterday.....after being in the ER at 1:00 am because my blood pressure dropped down to 73/31. ( I didn't know it, I passed out.......And Jayson made me go in) I now had 9 needle pokes......Not all successful, peeded in cups, and jugs. I swear, they must just love me and want me around! Monday I go in for an echocardiogram, and then Thursday they are hoping to have all of the results in. Woooooo hoooooooo, I just can't wait until this is all over, but it has been a wonderful lesson for me in patience and letting go!

Other than that commotion, things are going good around here! I have managed to keep up with the dishes and laundry (Yes, it isn't important, but I need to be doing something) and tried to keep up with Brie's schooling.
Ryan has learned to pump himself on the swing......and he is so darn proud! Brie has been such a wonderful help, and is learning to help with the laundry.

I have issues!

Ok, well the eye thinger isn't from coughing to hard! It is because my blood pressure is sky high! I have been in and out of dr's, poked, ect! Today I had to have an ekg, and I now know that I have a big heart! (No, not a good thing, but it sounds cute!) They are also having trouble regulating my blood pressure even on strong meds, so more tests are being run. All that is known now is that I have inflammation of the heart, and possibly other organs. This could be from something like lupus, kidney disorders, or lyme disease. I go in on Wed for an ultrasound of the kidneys and next monday for an eccocardiogram of the heart! What fun!

I had a wonderful mothers day! The kids got me the most beautiful plant.........and my mother in law spoiled me with gifts! I did puncture my father in laws head with a can of ready whip though! (HE got Ryan, so I got him!) (SORRY JAY!)

Eye Update

Well, I finally know that I am not crazy! I have a retinal vessel occlusion with a macular star. Sound kinds purdy, but it is blood clots and blood on my retina. It is not very common, and only 5% of people have this before the age of 50...............so I guess I am special!
The Dr. I went to was very nice. She is sending me to a retinal surgeon tomorrow to have a dye test done to see where the blood is coming from. I guess this can be caused from some sort of underlying medical condition...............When I know for sure what it is I will let you know. All I know is that I am gonna be poked...............alot! (YUCK!) I don't know if I will know much more tomorrow, because she wants me to go to my gp for blood work, and possibly an internist.
On the bright side, this is not affecting my left eye, and with my glasses I do purdy well one eyed...........so maybe you will have to call me patch purdy soon!

Yesterday we brought Toby into our house! Although I had sworn off any rodents..........I gave in and got Ryan a hamster. He had told me he just wanted someone to sleep in his room with him. I did make him earn it though!

I think the nice polished nails lasted only a few days, but you should see them now! I planted some new shrubs, dug up some hostas, trimmed a few bushes, and planted some flowers! Man my nails look bad!

The kids went to my parents for the weekend, which was nice! I was able to get some cleaning done, and some organizing in Ryan's room! Unfortunately, Jayson had a fever Friday night and has had "bathroom blues". Sunday morning I got a call from my mom that they were going to stay a bit longer.............Two minutes later she called to let me know that Brie had puked! Whoooooo hoooooooo! I swear I am the Lysol queen right now! I even lysoled the toilet, forgot, had to pee. MAN THAT BURNS ON YOUR BUTT!

Most nights I have terrible nightmares.....really strange ones! Today, much to my delight I woke up laughing! I was dreaming that I was on some talk show with little kids telling jokes. Rosie was there to, and she was making goofey comments to the kids. I am not sure what made me laugh.........but it woke me up! What a wonderful way to start the day. Since it was only two I went back to bed for a while though!!!!!!

Ryan just pointed out on a map that we live in Duluth. Since he got the right state (it is a us map) I am pretty proud! It is so darn windy today....I might blow away! (THat is alot of "gurth" to fly!) We need some rain.....but it is looking so nice and green even though it is dry! I planted some tulips last fall and they are sprouting.....just leaves though, but when they are up I will post a picture.

All is purdy well around here, we are pretty healthy. I am doing about 85% of my normal stuff, so I am feeling good about that! I still loose my voice and need my inhaler, but that is so much better than even Friday!

Why are people so amazed when I paint my nails? I swear I could find a new form of power, the eighth wonder of the world, eternal youth, and the nails would trump it all!!!!! What gives?

This weekend was crazy busy. We celebrated Easter with my mom's family and then went to my in-laws for Palm Sunday. We went to the greatest church service, with about 50 actors recreating palm Sunday with live animals and all! Camels, goats, chickens, rabbits, sheep, and a donkey! It is just awesome!

I am gonna take a week from blogging to celebrate Easter with my family! Hope all of you have a wonderful Easter, and see you in a week!

Today was my first trip back to Wally world since I got sick! Whoooo hooooooo! I'm better, not great, but working on it.

Not much is going on. Brie fell today and scrapped her knee. She was only upset because she ripped her pants. When I told her that people pay good money for pants to look like that she was fine!

Ryan is obsessed with potty talk and "private part" talk! I am thinking this is a boy phase and though he won't outgrow it, it won't be the topic of conversation!

I had the strangest day today!

I was on my swing outside, up on our deck. It was in the 50's so I thought I would get my lungs some fresh air. I was in my really cute "pie and cake" pj's and just a pair of booties and a huge blanket. Ok, so you get the cute visual.

"AAAAAAWWWWWWWWEEEEE MOM THERE IS A SNAKE!!!!!" Brie is screaming, crying.............thought it would be a boa! I look down to see what looks to me to be a gecko, about 6 inches long, creeping in the grass! Can I just leave the little guy alone? Nope. I go down on the wet grass, get a container and a little racket of sorts, and catch the little bugger. All this while the neighbor, who doesn't know that I am sick, and not just a crazy in my pj's, is looking on!

Got the little guy in, incased of course. It is a salamander. I guess they are really common around here, since there are some ponds a few blocks away. Anywhooooo, we did let him go. WHat a day!!!!!!!!

Oh, I did make sure to tell the neighbor I was sick. Hopefully she won't think that I am the crazy lady next door, and wellllllllll she may be right!!!

No, not the answers to lifes little questions. PNEMONIA!!!!!!!!

I have been feeling a bit crappy.....but I thought whoooo hoooo I got the kids colds. Nope, went into the dr. They did a strep test...neg. Then they tested me for the flu.......that is the most PAINFUL TEST! They stick a humungo q tip thinger in your nose.......both nostrils!!!!!!! That was neg. Then they did a chest xray and white count! YUP, PNEMONIA AGAIN!!!! I swear every four years I get it. It is much easier when you are not 9 months preggers though!

So, that is the news..............sucky as it may be!

He*^ Week!!!!

Oh man..........the past few days have been trying to say the least!!!! For a few weeks the kids had a "cold".........until Tuesday night when Ryan spiked a fever of 102. That morning Brie woke me up at 2 crying because her ear hurt. Well, I took them to the dr. and Brie had and ear infection and Ryan has broncitis. I have had to nebulize him every four hours, and now they put him on antibiotic, because he still wasn't any better on Friday!!!!!! My poor little guy coughs so hard he vomits..........I feel so bad for him.

If that wasn't enough I woke up yesterday and couldn't even talk!!!! I have been coughing a ton...and feel pretty WONDERFUL!!! I just can't wait for spring!!!! Today is in the upper 40's so I opened up all of the windows......I want the germs GONE!!!!!!!

I do like having the 'puter in the school room.....I got it set up that night, just didn't have time to blog.

Just when I thought the snow would melt, bam, 5 more inches!!!!!!! In some spots of the yard we have drifts that are over 2 feet!!!!!!! I just don't get it, we should have had this weather months ago!!!!

Brie had me pull out another loose tooth.......so now she is up to three!!!! This one was on the top and now she looks like a jack-o-lantern!!!!! It really wasn't even that loose, but she was determined if I didn't get it out she would choke on it in the night! OYe veyyyyyyy!!!!!!

What a winter!

This weekend was BEAUTIFUL!!!!! We hit 56 degrees and I actually went out in only a long sleeved t-shirt!!!!!!! Sunday night thought.......10 inches of wet, nasty snow!!!!!!! It was just crazy!!!!!!

Today the kids and I are getting back to our normal routine.....school work, house work, ect. I love going to visit, but our whole schedule is just topsy turvey, and it is hard to get the kids back on track!!!!

I don't have any fun pictures to post, but the kids are going to go play in the snow, so maybe this afternoon or tomorrow I will have something!

At least I can admit it!!!!! I have been totally bogged down with tax stuff, running, fun stuff too!!!!!

Well, taxes are done.........and I am so relieved!!!!! I hate doing it...and every year I say I will be more organized. I doubt it!!!!!! Now all I have to do is send them in and whooooo hooooooo, a refund!

I got to go and see my friends in my old town. It was bitter sweet, since my dear neighbors lost a loved one last week, and I was to late to attend the funeral. It was so nice to see them though! There were many hugs and laughs this weekend too!!!!!!

Ryan Update: After spending the weekend with my parents "What the hell is that!" I had to have a little talk with my father about "potty talk".

When I told that to my mom she just about freaked out.......but it is a good thing! For the kids birthdays they got a really cool ant house thinger. (I don't know what you would call is, but it has a cool see through gel inside so you can watch them work) Anywhooooo, the first batch that came were all dead. Now that is a fun package to open! Yesterday we got 25 more....and all but one made it! The ants actually burried the dead one! Well, I was a bit grossed out.....but they are actually quite fun to watch!!!!!

Jayson got his CDL (Commercial Drivers License) after months of study and tests...........I am so glad it is over, and that his work is willing to help pay for it!!!!! (Because of new laws after 9/11 they have to have backround checks and stuff.....which total almost 100 bucks!!!) The kids and I got him a Culvers ice cream cake to celebrate! On the way to get it Ryan said "This is the best honeymoon ever!" I just don't know about that boy!!!!!

Ryan was up at 1 and 3........I can't wait until he sleeps through the night!!!! (He had growing pains and had to pee)

Jayson took the kiddes to church this morning so I could get some rest. I think we are going to like this church!

We are going to go to Menards today (a home improvement store) and get some stuff. I have a list, but all I can remember are lint traps for the washer.

Oh, the picture was taken at the science museum in St Paul. The stairs are musical...really fun, and gets the kids pooped out!!!!

We had a pretty good weekend......minus the car troubles. It is so nice to be married to a mechanic!!!!!!

Friday was so cold that the car didn't want to start.......we had almost -50 wind chill. We also have an old truck for him to take to work....the radiatior went out in that!!!!! How fun!

My mom came for an overnight on Friday, taught Brie and me how to knit....I took a picture of the finished scarves, but not the computer doesn't want to like me either, so I thought I would post the boy.

Happy Presidents day! Just a note, George Washington's teeth were not wood, but hippo tusk. We read it in a bio! Thought it was interesting!

Knitting Away!

I am so excited! My mom came on Friday and taught Brie and me how to knit! I already finished a scarf and Jayson went out to get me a bit more yarn so that I can start one for a gift. I never in a million years thought I would be knitting, but I love it!!!! I had bought a book through scholastic (a kids one) and man it is the worst book ever!

My bruises are healing, but I still feel them if I am bumped! Ryan has been quite a pisol this week, I think it is because Jayson has not been home much, and the weather is so cold we can't really go anywhere. Brie lost another tooth on Valentines day, so now two are gone. THey are both on the bottom though, so she doesn't have the silly smile yet!

I had a great reason to get my house more in order last night!!!! I was comming up the stairs, tripped, stumbled, and landed on a shelf! I have two huge gashes, one on my bottom and one on my leg. I also brused my rib! Talk about insentive!!!!!

Why was a shelf on the floor you ask..................because I didn't know where to put it!

Anywoooooo, I found a great site that had tons of free printable charts! It even has one for being nice to sister!!!!! I printed off a TON of sheets, so I will see if I am more organized tomorrow, accomplishing all my goals!

Speaking of goals, I sat for a few hours this weekend and matched up all of my sox! I still don't understand why I can't throw out the orphaned ones though!!!!! I think I need a bit of therapy!

My baby boy is four today! We got him a new bike.....he outgrew the old one last year. He wanted to go to Applebee's for his birthday, so we went. He orders mac and cheese.........it is Kraft!!!! (I don't get why kids think it is so much better when you get it for 4.00 rather than .50 cents!!!)

We had the kids party this weekend. We got to see all of our great friends, and the kids had a great time too! I felt like a big kid......acted like one too!

This guy is my brother in law Bill. With his help and the help of my sister we took the kids skating for the first time!!!!! I also got on skates for the first time in over ten years! Ryan did ok....really just learning to stand up! Brie learnd the trick to getting up after you fall. By the end of the day she got pretty good! I stayed up the whole time!!!!!!!!!!!

It is so hard for me to believe that my baby girl will be 7 on Saturday!!!!! She wasn't planned for........but she was the best suprise I have EVER gotten!!!!!
She came and my life has never been the same! Holding her chubby little body (she was almost 9 lbs......a healthy baby!!!) she needed so much! Now she is so independent, helping her little brother, caring for the cats, helping around the house.
All she wants for her birthday are "scrapbook things" ..........'cuz she wants to be just like me. (POOOOOORRRRR GIRL!!!!) I got her a book and some stickers, as well as some jammies. She is the first grandchild in both our families so she will get spoiled with toys and clothes, so I don't like to get her that!!!

Well, all is great here..........although I am really behind visiting everyone. Once we get into Feb it will be better........I hope!!!!!

My grandma and I hit target yesterday.......just as they put the 90% off up in the Christmas isle!!!!!! I got some stay lit lights for hubby to put up next year, wrapping paper, two Christmas flags and a few other things for 17.00!!!!!!!! I did a little happy dance, although Grammy thought I was on crack! She found a few nice things too, and confessed that she had always wanted to do that! Whoooooo Hoooooooo.

Well the kiddies are on vacation with my parents for the weekend. It is nice to have the house quiet......but I should be cleaning, and I think I will soooooooooon!

Well, I do have my tree down, but really nothing else has gotten done since Christmas!!!!

Now it is time to start Brie back on her schooling, and Ryan back to a normal schedule.........and it isn't happening! Part of the problem is that they both have birthdays this month. Well, went to wallyworld yesterday, and got the big guy his gifts. Undies, sox, gloves, hat.....and a screwdriver set. Yes, he asked for most of those things.....the undies, well, the elastic only lasts so many years, and he looks like a plumber!
